A simpler time, when the world made sense…No part of that ever made sense.
Maybe not their relationship in particular, but I do miss the days of Jakob being in the office and the time period that picture represents. He was the only person I ever worked with that really challanged me, my points of view, etc. and I miss his influence. I am one of his biggest fans and believe he is one mine.
I think that summer (2007) was the best summer ever. I started working here, met Petra, gave BT it’s most significant growth period ever, and had an absolute blast. I also miss being neighbors with Vimeo. I miss Jstn, Ted, and the other fallen vimeo soldiers. Although I never would have guessed how big and successful Andrew and his crew were going to make the Vimeo.
Incidentally, that couch belonged to Jakob personally and he gave it to me/BustedTees when he left the company, but Sam Stahl in Ad Sales won’t give it back. Jake, time to intervene? He’d better chain it up, because we’re coming for it.
