Normative seeks web developer.
We are looking for a web developer to work closely with our artists. Ideally, you
- are a music lover.
- understand that releasing frequent incremental iterations (not ‘big new versions’) is the only sane way to develop websites.
- are comfortable learning new languages and platforms (because we need someone who can do both PHP and Flash; programming and design).
- can’t stand micromanagement in any form — ie, you’re comfortable making your own decisions and acting on them, and appreciate a boss who rewards, not punishes, independent judgment.
You must be within commuting distance of the Bedford L stop in Brooklyn. This is a part-time job that could easily morph into a full-time one.
Please send links to your best work, and the name of your favorite musician right now, to part.time.web.feb09@normative.com.
It’s ok if you don’t have a big portfolio, and a college degree is certainly not required.
Normative’s mission is to rationally unite music and business. We work closely with visionary artists to develop new business models (since the record industry no longer has anything to offer them). We believe no conflict exists between the ideal and the practical.
A once in a lifetime opportunity (for anyone NOT employed by Connected Ventures)
