I’m running again! After about 3 months off following my foot injury, I started running again in January. It feels so good to be back and there’s a Half Marathon in March with my name on it.
A few changes to my running this time around:
1. I got custom orthotics made to provide better support to my flat feet.
2. I’m running a little slower and using the Galloway Method, taking 30-60 second walking breaks every mile, and running at about 11-12 minutes/mile. Not impressive speed, but W = M x D.
3. Best of all: Petra has started running too and has matched me mile for mile. We did 7 miles outside today and she’s already faster than me.
