“Idiom?” Results
Last night Petra and I were talking about the merits of having an outdoor space connected to our Manhattan apartment, and I said “it would be great to have some kids with whom I could have a catch” at which point she burst out laughing and insisted the phrase was play catch.
It turns out this particular issue is a northeast vs. rest of the country difference.
The results were:

3 - HAVE A CATCH
So it seems both are right!
