Today I submitted federal and state tax forms for 2007, making this the first year I’ve handled the IRS on my own. My father took care of it for me until now.
I found the process extremely easy. It took about 30 minutes total with my W2 from Connected Ventures and a 1099 for 50 dollars of dividends I got from some stocks this year.
I used TurboTax’s cheapest package, paying nothing for Federal and $30 for State. I submitted it this morning and got receipt confirmation from the IRS this afternoon. I will be getting a nice refund direct deposited into my bank account next week.
TurboTax is the second greatest thing on the Internet after MuxTape!
